Housemate number 2 woke up early one morning last week to find TC’s collar and a mysterious note left on our doorstep…. We’re uploading a picture of the postcard but you can’t quite make out the text so here’s the transcript:
“Dear Friends,
My name is Herrington Smemington Smythe but my friends call me Eric the cat for short. I am 16 of your human years old and it was my birthday yesterday.
I am Spanish, and before I was able to take up residence in a properly heated home in the UK I was forced to spend 6 months in a tiny prison cell until the authorities deemed me safe enough to be released.
It was then I developed my plaintive meow, plus I am now deaf which may also explain it.

We have contact!
HOW COOL is that?! Just one day after the launch of Project CatMap, we’ve had a response! And not just a single photo… a whole gallery. Needless to say this is very exciting, and mysterious. With no other information other than the pictures, we can only speculate as to who took these photos, and why.
We can only hope that TC’s return and the contents of his collar-capsule will help shed more light on the subject.
